It’s About Your Members, Not You It’s NOT about your mission. It’s NOT about your content. It’s about how you are bringing together people in the same transition, so they can create their best year ever. THAT’S the motivation for them to take your course or join your community. They want to meet people on the same path. They want to take your course together. They want to learn together. They want to build together. They want to create together. So tell us in the comments—who are you bringing together?

Community Spotlight: Tuneagers A Songwriting Club for Teens “Find your voice. Share your story.” That’s the motto at Tuneagers. Here are a few of the ways that Tuneagers is providing MASSIVE value to their members👇 “Learning how to write songs is a skill that takes some instruction and lots of regular practice.” - You’ll meet professional songwriters who will teach you the tricks of the trade and provide direct feedback and encouragement as you learn how to tell stories in 4 minutes or less. - You’ll be a part of a community of your peers and, together, you’ll curate the content according to your interests. - You’ll make friends and learn how to co-write with them—a skill that will come in handy in the collaborative world of music! - You’ll grow (exponentially!) as a songwriter, a storyteller, a collaborator, and an artist. Communities that prioritize each other’s needs, and grow TOGETHER are the ones that win long-term. Want to learn more about Tuneagers? Check them out here👇

Paid versus Free. Which is the right choice for communities in 2024, 2025 and beyond??? — 🌶️ Freemium is the hardest and least successful path to growing a profitable membership. Especially if you're just starting out, don't do it. Here's what we've learned at @MightyNetworks — Freemium communities offer a free community plus paid memberships, courses, challenges, or events. 🛑 THEY REQUIRE THE MOST WORK AND ARE THE HARDEST MODEL TO GET RIGHT.🛑 Our data shows that freemium communities have a 48% conversion rate (visitors who come -> sign up and buy a paid program). Now let's compare that to a paywall at the front door. Paid memberships, courses, challenges, and events have over an 80% conversion rate (visitors who come -> sign up and pay). Why the difference? 1️⃣ People pay for progress. 2️⃣ People pay attention to what they pay for. So, they are actually excited to join something that signals they are serious—and are going to meet other people on the same path. 3️⃣ When you focus on charging for a single program (especially at the beginning), you do it better. What else? ⭐️ You're clearer on your Ideal Member, or the person who needs your community the most RIGHT NOW. ⭐️ You're clearer on the results and transformation they're hungry to get, or what I call THEIR BEST YEAR EVER. ⭐️ You're clearer on your offering, which isn't about your content, but rather the culture you're building among your members. We call it your COMMUNITY DESIGN™ PLAN. When you have this focus, you can find the people who are stoked to pay and help them get the results that will have them bringing in the right new members through word-of-mouth. From here, you can add more paid programs on top of your core paid offering—and keep this flywheel of engagement, success, and word-of-mouth going.

Community Spotlight: Just A Mom Collective It all started when Kiara became a mom: "When I became a first-time mom, I felt overwhelmed, inadequate, and more alone than I ever expected. I wondered if anyone else was struggling like I was, or if it was just me. Just A Mom was born from that deep desire for a supportive community—one I wish I had back then. We are here to be the village every mom deserves, whether you’re a first-time mom or seasoned in parenthood. Through our virtual space, local meet-ups, and events, we create a place where no mom has to feel isolated. Together, we lift each other up, because motherhood isn’t meant to be done alone. See you on the inside." Kiara Freeman, Founder, President of Just A Mom Collective Just A Mom Collective is designed to be “The Community You'll Feel, The Resources You'll Need.” “At Just A Mom, we believe in more than just connecting moms—we create a space where you’ll truly feel seen, heard, and supported, no matter what stage of motherhood you’re in. ” Just A Mom Collective is packed with events and resources like: - Mom Life Chat: A welcoming space for moms to talk about everyday life, from funny moments to the real challenges we all face. - Weekly Mom Circles: Every week in Just A Mom, we come together for our “Cleaning the Island” video chat—a time to declutter your mind and let go of the challenges, stresses, and emotions that have built up over the week. - Local Meetups & Events: Connect in person with other moms in your area through playdates, park meetups, and special events. - Expert Resources: Gain valuable insights from motherhood specialists such as midwives, professional nannies, nurse practitioners, and more. - Access to all 10 spaces: Expecting Moms, Single Moms, Homeschooling Moms, Fitness + Run Club, Atlanta Meet-Ups + Playdates, Breastfeeding + Pumping Moms and more. - Sleep Queen VIP Channel: Exclusive access to support and expert advice for moms who purchase our Sleep Queen sleep training guide. - Member Profiles: Discover and connect with moms who share similar interests or are in the same stage of motherhood by exploring personal profiles within the community. THE most common mistake community leaders make in 2024👇 (are you missing this in your community?) When mapping out the results your members will get by being a part of your community (or course, challenge, or event)— ❌ DON'T go generic ❌ DON'T go small ❌ DON'T sound like everyone else Rather, aim to offer your Ideal Members THEIR BEST YEAR EVER. THEIR BEST YEAR EVER is simply RESULTS *PLUS* MEMORABLE DETAILS. 🎉 Have fun with THEIR BEST YEAR EVER 🎉 Get creative with THEIR BEST YEAR EVER 🎉 And recognize that THEIR BEST YEAR EVER is a North Star It's not a promise or a guarantee. Rather, it's a way to talk about the aspirations of your IDEAL MEMBER (which should be a person in a TRANSITION). And while we're at it, what's YOUR Best Year Ever? (It's fun to think about. And even more fun to share in the replies.)
