We look forward to the launch of the updated MissionGreenFuels roadmap, as it marks our next step towards realising our ambitious mission. But why is the roadmap so important for the partnership? The vision for the MissionGreenFuels partnership is to contribute substantially to the Danish, European and global climate goals, specifically 70 % reduction by 2030 and net zero by 2050, and to support Danish research, innovation, growth, jobs and export potential within the field of green fuels. MissionGreenFuels is led by a secretariat under Aalborg University in collaboration with Danish Center for Energy Storage (DaCES) and Energy Cluster Denmark (ECD). 🚨 𝐍𝐲𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐮𝐝𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐥 𝐥æ𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐩 𝐭𝐢𝐥 𝐚𝐭 𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐟ø𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐫𝐤𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐅𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐬' 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐠𝐫ø𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐛𝐫æ𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫 🚨 MissionGreenFuels glæder sig over, at regeringen i sit seneste udspil foreslår at afsætte 15 milliarder kroner til grøn forskning og innovation frem mod 2030. Dette initiativ er en vigtig anerkendelse af arbejdet i vores og de tre andre nationale missioner. Udspillet sigter mod at videreføre og styrke missionerne, hvilket vil give os bedre muligheder for at accelerere udviklingen af løsninger, der kan hjælpe Danmark med at nå sine klimamål. Som Klima-, energi- og forsyningsminister Lars Aagaard udtrykker det: "Vi kommer ikke i mål med den grønne omstilling af hele samfundet uden nye teknologier. Bag grønne brændstoffer og negative emissioner står teknologier som power-to-X og CO2-fangst og lagring. Derfor er det godt, at vi nu skubber endnu hårdere på den teknologiske udvikling af grønne løsninger og forkorter rejsen fra laboratorie til reel klimahandling." I tråd med dette skubber vi også i MissionGreenFuels på for at udvikle eksisterende teknologier og finde fremtidens grønne brændstoffer, som Doc Brown siger i Back to the Future: "We don't need gasoline anymore!" – mens han fylder bananskræller 🍌 på DeLorean som brændstof. Vi ser frem til at følge denne spændende udvikling og glæder os over det politiske fokus.
