Y'all - the MIT Gaming Industry Club's conference was pretty awesome. Got to hang out with Alexander Dunn, Mike Pappas, Vadim Polikov, and the amazing TL Taylor on our panel, chatting about how games can do some good in the world. And let me tell you, the day just kept getting better. We had these killer keynotes from Keisha Howard & Kate Kellogg, plus panels covering everything from game money stuff to diversity & inclusion. But the real highlight? Getting to catch up with buddies from the gaming scene in Boston and New York. You know, one of the best things about making games is the tight-knit community we've got going – all of us working together to create awesome experiences for gamers everywhere. This unique MIT event gave us all an opportunity to connect right here at home in New England with the next generation of industry leaders, and discuss the issues that can help shape its trajectory. And man, it was a blast hanging out with Kabir Hemrajani, Connor Hughes, CPOA, SA, Eric Monacelli, Dave Bisceglia, and, of course, the life of the party himself, David Cham. Guy even snagged the first prize of the day – check out his new MIT Mug! Big shoutout to Stacy Liu, Daniel Eduardo, Sean Huang, and Sasivarnan Kanaghasalam Sathyapriya for including me in the fun. Can't wait to do it all again next year – this event is one of a kind, and I hope to see you there next year!
