  • ENGLISH BELOW To było wspaniałe 12 dni pełnych sztuki i technologii podczas AI Art Festival. Wydarzenie zostało zwieńczone rozdaniem nagród w konkursie w Muzeum Sztuki Nowoczesnej w Warszawie | Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. Ceremonię uświetnił Hugo Caselles-Dupré, PhD, który opowiedział o swojej pracy artystycznej w wykładzie pt. "Mind-To-Image: Combining fMRI and AI to represent Visual Imagery”. Tegoroczne jury konkursu, w skład którego wchodzili: Julia Chylak, Jakub Wróblewski, Przemysław Spurek, Jakub Depczyński oraz Maciej Mehl, miało przed sobą trudne zadanie wyboru najlepszych prac z wystawy 𝘍𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘸 w Akademia Sztuk Pięknych w Warszawie. Trudne, gdyż wszystkie z nich zasługiwały na nagrodę. Serdecznie gratulujemy wszystkim finalistom, a w szczególności zwycięzcom, którzy stanęli na podium: I miejsce – Rafał Kruszka, User Agreement  II miejsce – Zuzanna Wudarska, Manifesto III miejsce – Tatsuru Arai, Face of Universe Dziękujemy wszystkim przybyłym za obecność i wspólne tworzenie niezapomnianej atmosfery festiwalu. To wszystko nie byłoby możliwe bez prelegentów, którzy zapewnili niesamowity poziom wykładów i warsztatów, artystów, którzy zgłosili swoje prace do konkursu oraz oczywiście uczestników, którzy odwiedzili wystawę oraz brali udział w Festiwalu! Wasze zainteresowanie i pasja pokazują, że sztuka i technologia mogą nie tylko współistnieć, ale także wzajemnie się inspirować. ________________________________________________ It was a wonderful 12 days full of art and technology during the AI Art Festival. The event was concluded with the Awards Ceremony for the competition at the newly opened Muzeum Sztuki Nowoczesnej w Warszawie | Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. The ceremony was graced by Hugo Caselles-Dupré, PhD, who spoke about his artistic work in a lecture entitled 'Mind-To-Image: Combining fMRI and AI to represent Visual Imagery'. This year's jury, made up of Julia Chylak, Jakub Wróblewski, Przemysław Spurek, Jakub Depczyński and Maciej Mehl, had the difficult task of selecting the best works from 𝘍𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘸 exhibition at Akademia Sztuk Pięknych w Warszawie. It was difficult, as all of them deserved an award. We would like to congratulate all the finalists and especially the winners who made it to the podium: 1st place - Rafał Kruszka, User Agreement  2nd place - Zuzanna Wudarska, Manifesto 3rd place - Tatsuru Arai, Face of Universe We would like to thank everyone who attended for their presence and for creating an unforgettable festival atmosphere. None of this would have been possible without the wonderful speakers who provided an amazing level of lectures and workshops, the artists who submitted their work to the competition, and of course the participants who visited the exhibition and took part in the Festival! Your interest and passion shows that art and technology can not only coexist, but also inspire each other.

The competition showcased a remarkable diversity of artworks, highlighting the possibilities that artificial intelligence brings to the creative process. This exhibition offers a unique opportunity to explore the innovative intersection of artificial intelligence and art, reflecting various styles, themes, and perspectives. This is not the end - on November 9, during The Award Ceremony at the Muzeum Sztuki Nowoczesnej w Warszawie | Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw at Marszałkowska 103, we will choose the main prizes among the exhibition participants. So stay tuned!

  • Future Will Be Better Tomorrow Opening: October 31, 6:00 PM Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie 37/39, 00-379 Warsaw Exhibition open until November 11, from 10 AM to 8 PM Future Will Be Better Tomorrow is an exhibition of the finalists of ML in PL: AI Art Competition, featuring: Tatsuru Arai Leon Butler Agata Konarska Rafał Kruszka Anže Sekelj Konrad Smoleń Piotr Stechura Ubermorgen Zuzanna Wudarska In light of the challenges posed by the rapid development of artificial intelligence, the attempt to define it and encapsulate it within a predetermined theme has become impossible. The technology of tomorrow escapes all control. Therefore, the goal of the competition was to inspire artists to envision the future. What seems unrealistic today may surprise us with its presence tomorrow. The results of the competition, namely the selection of the top three works, will be announced on November 9 during the awards ceremony at the new building of the Museum of Modern Art. This is the first artistic competition of this scale in Poland, where the criterion for considering submissions was the successful verification of whether the works were created using artificial intelligence tools. The outcome will be influenced not only by the judges but also by visitors — there will be an opportunity to vote for works using a QR code. The title of the exhibition was inspired by a slip of the tongue by Dan Quayle, the Vice President of the United States under George H. W. Bush from 1989 to 1993. It was translated into Polish as "Przyszłość będzie lepsza jutro" ("The future will be better tomorrow"), but it could also be interpreted as "Przyszłość będzie lepsze jutro" ("The future will be better tomorrow"). The necessity to choose between ‘lepsza’ (better, feminine) and ‘lepsze’ (better, neuter) prevents a faithful rendering of the quote. Quayle's grammatical mistake is typical of the natural language generation tools from the 1990s.
