Shameless self-promotion: Our preliminary Mochi Love product is called the Crème Cloud. It looks like your standard mochi dessert from the outside, but it's actually quite different. The inside filling that you're probably used to seeing as a room-temperature base or a frozen ice cream is neither; it's a light, airy (cloud-like!) French créme. Couldn't agree more with this Forbes article on the importance of branding/brand strategy, which has still been circulating in our feeds despite its December publish date. We knew that when we launched Mochi Love, the branding was going to play a huge role in the success of our brand. We were lucky enough to partner with Frooishen and work directly with Casey Harshman, Elizabeth Niehaus, and Sarah Olney (or Cazzyrah, if you're into celeb name combos), who understood the assignment of creating a brand that evoked feelings of joy and nostalgia just by looking at them. Our packaging, logo, and assets set people up to go to their happy places, and then they taste our products and complete the journey! Seriously, if anyone needs a branding agency, this is it! Meet Brandie Miller aka BRANDie --the heartbeat of the brand. With a seasoned background in CPG, a passion for food, and the mastermind behind some of our wildest ideas. Her idea of a good time? Cruising grocery aisles, obsessing over ingredients, innovation, and packaging. Meet Kat LaFata-- Our Marketing Maven who wears all the hats- wordsmith extraordinaire, pitch deck prodigy, social media sorceress, newsletter ninja, tradeshow champion , and creative virtuoso (the alliteration can only go so far). As we start a new month, we cannot help but look at some of our favorite moments thus far. We haven't even been a brand for 4 months yet and we've already had so many wins!
