I'm grateful for Nicolas Esteves and Nicolai Eddy who I have had the privilege of building NALA with the past 4 years, they have put their life into building this company with me with countless late nights, weekends constantly trying to execute on our bold mission to build payments for the next billion! 🌟 Incredibly proud of this team and the journey we've been on these past 20+ months! 🚀 Here are some highlights ⚡️ - Jan 2022 → Date: 60x business growth - Jan 2023 → Date: 17x revenue growth - 2024 Milestone: We became profitable for the first time and are on track for our highest-revenue month ever! - We launched RAFIKI, our business payments product, and secured 3 of the world’s top 7 remittance companies to power payouts to emerging markets. - Since January 2024, RAFIKI has grown 40x! - Expanded to Asia 🔥 None of this would’ve been possible without our ambitious and resilient team, we play to win. We're a team with alums from Stanford, Y-Combinator, Monzo, Revolut, CashApp, Robinhood, World Remit and many top fintech companies. That said, i'll be the first to say, NALA and RAFIKI aren’t the easiest places to work at —our pace of change in the past 20 months has been intense, we focus on executing with a sense of urgency.
