  • What an unforgettable evening at Frederick Innovative Technology Center, Inc (FITCI)’s Lunar New Year celebration, co-hosted by NanoBioFAB! Surrounded by an incredible community of entrepreneurs, innovators, and supporters, we shared stories, laughter, and a vision for the future. A special thank you to Dr. Kathie Callahan Brady from FITCI and Tien Wong from The Big Idea CONNECTpreneur Community, who led the event on-site, for their dedication to empowering startups.   One of the most powerful moments of the night was hearing NanoBioFAB’s founder and CEO, Xiaonao Liu, PhD, share her journey. Since founding NanoBioFAB in 2016, Xiaonao has transitioned from scientist to entrepreneur, navigating the highs and lows of building a company from the ground up. Entrepreneurship is never easy, but with a bold vision, breakthrough technology, and a team that stands together, the journey becomes possible. At NanoBioFAB, we believe real impact comes from more than just innovation—it’s about the people, the culture, and the mission behind it. We’re proud to have all these elements driving us forward as we continue advancing AI-powered nanosensor technology for wound infection early detection.   Another highlight was the FITCI Dakiwi Robotics Team, six brilliant young innovators (ages 10-11) who have already won multiple FIRST LEGO League awards. They’re not just building robots—they’re shaping the future of innovation! As a proud sponsor and mentor, NanoBioFAB has supported these young minds from competitions to pitch preparation, and we were thrilled to see them showcase their robot dance performance at our event. Watching their success, we see future scientists, engineers, and CEOs in the making.   FITCI has been a pillar of support for entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs in training like Dakiwi, helping ideas turn into reality. We’re proud to be part of this thriving community and grateful for every challenge, every success, and every person who believes in the power of innovation.   Our rapid progress is a testament to the power of innovation, resilience, and collaboration. We’re excited for what’s ahead!
