In honor of #STEMDay, we're looking back at some of the fun we had at this past spring's STEAM Fest! Student teams from 47 Chicago Public Schools STEM and STEAM schools competed in NASCAR's second annual design-challenge at The Field Museum. The competition featured attendance by NASCAR drivers Lavar Scott of Rev Racing and Connor Mosack of JR Motorsports, where the drivers worked with students to develop and refine each team's "fastest car on four terrains." Also in attendance to help the students were industry professionals from top NASCAR teams, including Alba Colon of Hendrick Motorsports and Chris Justice of Stewart-Haas Racing. 🚗💨 #NASCARChicago #NASCAR #STEAM
