Northern Nash High School honored our veterans with their annual Veterans Day reception and celebration on Friday, November 8th. Coopers Elementary School honored Veterans on Tuesday, November 13th, with a heartfelt Veterans Day breakfast and a special walk through the halls, where students cheered on our honored guests. We’re grateful for all who served! 🇺🇸
NCPS Work-Based Coordinator Dale Wells and Career Development Coordinators Susan Wollett and Dr. Tabatha McDowell presented at the NCWorks Partnership Conference on October 10th, in Greensboro, NC. The theme of the presentation was Empowering Students: Creating a Workforce. Nash County Public Schools Career and Technical Education (CTE) Staff presented “Leveraging Partnerships to Grow Student Career Development Opportunities” at the National ACTE Best Practices and Innovations Conference in Portland, Oregon on October 10th. Damian Jeffers, NCPS CTE Curriculum and Instruction Management Coordinator, and Sharron Barnes, CTE Computer Engineering Teacher led the conference session.
