Happy 15th work anniversary to our Library Director, Jennifer McCormack! 🥳 Through her leadership, she's strengthened the library's role as a community hub through initiatives like renovating the Chandler Wing meeting room space and eliminating overdue fines. #TBT Today is my work-versary at the Nashua Public Library...and I still think it's wild that I'm celebrating EIGHT years (!?) here. 🤯 I started out on a part time basis with Circulation in 2016, with the intent of sticking around two, maybe three years. I was actually looking to get back into archives after having such a fun experience during undergrad; but it was a very different job market then, and I already knew I did like library work too from my time at Milford. So I could do that while watching for job openings. Fast forward, and here I am...full time and totally content in my current role in Tech Services. And even stranger: in a Master's program that incorporates both of my career interests. I never saw that one coming! I am just so grateful for all the support and learning opportunities I've had over the years. I never expected to love my colleagues and community here quite so much, but I've worked with seriously the most incredible people, and that always makes the biggest difference in any workplace! I love having so much fun and loving my job! 🙌 Thanks NPL for giving me that chance eight years ago! 🎉
