I enjoyed presenting my journey on becoming a Certified Care Manager by utilizing my occupational therapy skills and experience at the Indiana Occupational Therapy Association's Fall Conference. I equally enjoyed learning about Victoria Garcia Wilburn, Laura Aust, OTD, MS, OTR and Angie Kidd's journeys on their pivoting careers. Thank you to Thomas Fisher, PhD, OTR/L, CCM, FAOTA for implementing the panelist discussion. One thing is for sure...OT's make great collaborators and problem solvers! Beth Fuller, CMC on why becoming a Care Manager Certified matters to her... and her clients: "In Arizona, there is no license required to do care management, which is a big reason I worked for, and maintain, my CMC. NACCM certification requires ongoing CE Units, so my clients are assured in my skills and experience." #CareManager #CareManagment #LoveYourJob #ProfessionalCertification #CareManagerCertified
