About us
Grange Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit entity affiliated with the National Grange. The Grange Foundation supports education, service and leadership training for rural Americans and those involved or interested in agriculture, and supports research related to rural and agricultural issues in the United States. In conjunction with the fraternal members of the National Grange, whose affiliation is with one of more than 1,500 local Grange chapters in the country, the Grange Foundation has provided countless hours and dollars to ensure rural communities and individuals are provided opportunities to rise to their highest potential and quality of life. Special interest is paid to agriculture education, encouraging leadership development and career readiness for youth, support for programs that inspire continuation of American arts and cultural understanding and historical presevation, projects related to deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals and efforts to educate individuals about preserving their hearing, and more.

The Grange Foundation and the National Grange are pleased to announce that Asheton Medlin, a member of Bushy Fork Grange #1073 in North Carolina, has been selected as the inaugural winner of the Ernestine "Ernie" Keiser Memorial Scholarship. Medlin is a student at UNC Chapel Hill, majoring in biology with her sights on veterinary school. The gift that made the scholarship possible was named in memory of Keiser, a charter Grange member of Beach Community Grange in Virginia, and a fervent supporter of youth programming and leadership development.
