Through the Truth + Transformation project at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, we’re awarding grants ($1,000–$2,500) to support initiatives focused on forced labor, convict leasing, and criminal justice. This is a chance to help uncover hidden histories, honor untold stories, and spark meaningful community action. We’re looking for projects that focus on: 🔍 Historical Truth-Telling – Research and remembrance efforts that spotlight the realities of forced labor and convict leasing in Georgia. 🌟 Community-Driven Memorialization – Collaborative memorials or installations that uplift the stories of those impacted by systemic injustice. 💬 Engagement + Activation – Events and initiatives that create dialogue and inspire action around justice and reconciliation.
