Yesterday, the Women of NESN (WON) group hosted an incredible event, titled 'A Morning With WON,' for employees across NESN and SportsNet Pittsburgh to learn more about the impactful work the WON brand has launched this past year, and also WON's plans for the year ahead. After a panel of WON members across departments spoke to the group about their respective initiatives, the event continued with an inspiring and unforgettable keynote presentation with Co-Founder and CEO of Boston Globe Media, Linda P.. Linda shared insights around the work she's done to prioritize and elevate women's sports in New England and beyond, and also provided advice on how to overcome obstacles and propel your career forward. We closed out the morning with a fun networking opportunity for attendees. Interested in learning more about WON? Today we hosted the entire Boston University Women's Soccer team at NESN for a day of networking and career development discussions. As part of the day, the team heard from many of our WON (Women of NESN) members, spanning across departments and career experiences. The panel touched on what it means to be a woman working in sports, as well as NESN's continued efforts to expand diversity internally, and amplify women's sports coverage externally.

Tonight is Women's Celebration Night at Fenway Park and on NESN! We'll have Emma Tiedemann and Rylee Pay in the broadcast booth as the first-ever female duo to call several innings in a Red Sox game, Sophia Jurksztowicz hosting a barrier breaking women's panel, and multiple interviews highlighting notable female voices throughout tonight's broadcast, including our very own Cosmina Schulman, SVP of Digital and Broadcast Partnerships, speaking about her work as our Women of NESN chair. We are so proud to recognize the incredible group of women behind the scenes tonight that, without them, we would not have the level of quality and support in tonight's historic broadcast. Please join us in celebrating the women listed below, as well as all of WON and our allies!
