Last Friday, we had the privilege of hosting Wharton’s McNulty Leadership Program Nonprofit Board Fellows for an insightful site visit and fireside chat at the Alan Horwitz "Sixth Man" Center! The Fellows received an in-depth look at PYB’s mission, the development of the Sixth Man Center, and the incredible work happening behind the scenes. After a tour of the SMC, our panelists—CEO Kenny Holdsman , COO Jayson Tischler, and Board Vice-Chair Isaiah Nathaniel, CPHIMS —actively engaged with one another and the audience, sharing valuable insights on topics such as the role of nonprofit boards, building impactful partnerships, the importance of philanthropy, and the exciting future ahead for both PYB and the SMC. With limitless possibilities for expansion, we are thriving and continuing to grow, impacting even more lives through our work. A huge thank you to all who participated for their thoughtful questions and to our panelists for their inspiring conversation! President Josh Filer had a great time touring the Philadelphia Youth Basketball Alan Horwitz "Sixth Man" Center in Philadelphia on November 8th. This event was put on for the McNulty Leadership Program for the Lipman Family Prize and the McNulty Leadership Board Fellows group at The Wharton School and University of Pennsylvania. Representing Net Impact Philadelphia there was a great time and it was great to see the local community work that Philadelphia Youth Basketball is doing for youth in the Philly area!
