I am thrilled to introduce the The Network of Distinguished Educators, a joint initiative between PDK International and AASA, The School Superintendents Association. A special thanks to James Lane and Kristine Gilmore for their vision and commitment to this work. The mission of the Network is to convene, support and elevate the work of some of our nation’s most accomplished superintendents through research, professional learning and case studies to serve as teaching tools addressing the challenges education leaders face today. I am grateful to Dr. Jennifer Cheatham and the Harvard Graduate School of Education for their partnership and support in building these case studies along with our members. At a time when we need strong, courageous superintendents leading our nation’s schools more than ever before, the The Network of Distinguished Educators is committed to strengthening the profession by sharing the impact these leaders are having on the lives of students, staff and their communities. #supportingsuperintendents
