We are excited to launch the first edition of our Introduction to Neuroscience, Psychology, and Human Behavior Course for Grades 9 -11 students (or any equivalent). This neuroscience course focuses on higher brain functions and the mechanisms underlying human and animal behaviors. Topics include the emerging role of the gut microbiome's impact on behavior, pathogens that alter neuronal development, and the biological basis of mindfulness and placebos. Common experimental techniques used in neuroscience research and conducting systematic literature reviews are emphasized. No prior knowledge is required. The course is completely free for anyone around the world. LAST DAY to sign up for the course is July 13th, and the course end date is August 16th!
