An absolute privilege to train 500+ Nevada State Government grants professionals on Federal Grant Fundamentals and the recent changes to the #UniformGuidance #Part200  - Thanks to our hosts Nevada Governor's Office of Federal Assistance for a fun event this past December 16th in Carson City and to Nevada GrantLab for lunch !

The Nevada Governor's Office of Federal Assistance was proud to host the Mandatory Statewide 2CFR training session on Monday, December 16, 2024. This all-day training event provided essential guidance on navigating federal grant management and compliance, equipping our state agencies with the tools needed to successfully navigate the complexities of federal funding. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our insightful speaker, Phillip Escoriaza from Feldesman Leifer LLP, for sharing his expertise, and to Nevada GrantLab for generously sponsoring lunch. We are also deeply grateful to the 500+ in-person attendees who made this event possible. Your participation, patience, and enthusiasm were the driving force behind the success of this training. #2CFR #FederalGrants #GrantManagement #Nevada #StateAgency #Training #StateGovernment

  • 🎉 #FederalGrantVictory 🎉 Huge congratulations to Southern Nevada Building Trades Unions (SNBTU) for securing a $716,701 grant from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Women in Apprenticeship and Nontraditional Occupations (WANTO) program! This grant will support SNBTU and its partners, UA Local 525 Plumbers, Pipefitters, and Service Technicians, and Teamsters Local 631, as they expand their 19 registered apprenticeship programs (RAPs) to meet the growing demand for building trades workers in Southern Nevada. 👷♀️👷♂️ The focus will be on creating opportunities for women from underrepresented groups, increasing the number of women in apprenticeship programs, and positioning them to secure high-paying careers in the building trades. This investment will help create a more diverse and inclusive workforce in Southern Nevada’s skilled trades industry. Kudos to SNBTU for their commitment to workforce development and gender equity in the trades! #FederalGrantVictory #WorkforceDevelopment

Congratulations to Clark County and Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth!
