The New Jersey Lottery has released its audited results for the fiscal year 2024. Sales totaled $3.63 billion, the fourth-highest sales result in the Lottery’s history. Lottery proceeds benefit the state pension fund. At $1.17 billion, FY2024 marks the seventh consecutive year the Lottery’s contribution has surpassed $1 billion, benefitting teachers, police officers and other public sector employees. A Tri-State Megabucks ticket sold at the St. Albans Hannaford Supermarkets produced a $6.27 million winner in September. Hannaford chose to donate its $50,000 commission to 3 local organizations that support the St. Albans community. Hannaford and the Vermont Department of Liquor and Lottery recently welcomed the three community organizations to the St. Albans store for a celebratory check presentation.
