  • 👻 These marketing and business practices at law firms send shivers down our spines! 🤳Pick up the Phone: Eek! We learned at #ClioCon2024 that 67% of law firms do not answer the phone or respond to messages. You can easily stand out from a sea of law firms and put your clients at ease by answer calls and returning messages. 🎯 Client-Centric Messaging: Avoid “Us/We” language. Instead of talking about how great your firm is, focus on how you’re helping clients achieve their goals and meet their needs. 🪑 Client-Centered Policies: Getting good reviews, testimonials, and referrals means your policies can't be all about you. Design policies like payment plans or virtual meetings that anticipate your client's needs and behaviors. 📸 High-Quality Visuals: Outdated or low-quality visuals erode trust in your brand. High-quality images and design build credibility and show attention to detail. 🔀 Valuing Your Marketing and Client Services Teams: Don’t isolate or under-resource the departments that connect with clients. In an age of endless options, invest in the people who know your audience best. Include them in planning discussions and give them the resources to succeed. Happy Halloween! 🎃 #ClientExperience #Halloween #Marketing

Founder 🔵 Makes sense of the marketing chaos

🎭 Sending the right email message to the right people matters at your arts organization. People expect the organizations and businesses they buy from to understand their needs and deliver experiences based on them. 🔵73% of shoppers expect brands to understand their unique needs and expectations (eMarketer). 🔵 71% of consumers expect companies to deliver personalized interactions, and 76% get frustrated when this doesn’t happen (Shopify). 🔵 Yet there’s a disconnect between customers and brands — while 85% of brands believe they’re offering personalized experiences, only 60% of consumers agree (Shopify). This begins with advertising and (hopefully) continues when you ask your audience to return, subscribe, and give a gift. 🔵🔵🔵 Learn how to send smarter, unmissable emails at our next Executive Roundtable Discussion. • Last week, founder Nicole Wetzell headed to Austin, TX for #cliocon. We're still unpacking all the fun we had, making new friends and learning the latest in legal marketing, trends, and tech. Thanks, Clio - Cloud-Based Legal Technology, for planning such a great conference. 🔵🔵🔵 Did you attend ClioCon? Join Nicole, Sachin H. • 💸 The fastest way to make a client angry is to take more money out of their wallet than they expected. You can build trust by: 🔵 Explain what exactly goes into your fee. 🔵 Be crystal clear about what's covered and what isn't. 🔵 Communicate any situations that could lead to additional charges. Being upfront about pricing builds trust, keeps clients coming back for more, and telling their friends about you.

  • Attend the Tessitura conference last month? Tomorrow is your chance to talk about what you learned and plan to implement this season with other attendees and experts. Yes, your season is opening soon, but your notes and ideas deserve more than staying in your notebook. Is Labor Weekend on your mind? Nothing annoys a customer more than when they get the wrong information. When our favorite operations expert Rachel Steininger asked Nicole Wetzell about an easy customer experience tip, of course she responded: the basics. Here's your reminder to take 20 minutes to review and update the basics before you take off for the long weekend. You'd be surprised at the outdated information you'll find. 🔵 Google My Business 🔵 Website 🔵 Voicemail 🔵 Any automated emails #customerexperience #marketing #marketingbasics

  • ⚖️ Client onboarding – what’s that? This process ultimately leads to more happy clients, more referrals, and more money because it sets expectations during the gap between signing the execution letter and initial meeting. Nicole Wetzell and one of our favorite operations experts Rachel Steininger from Upward Acceleration are both fascinated by the process of delivering a great client experience, so they had a conversation about that and client onboarding. #legalmarketing #lawfirms #clientonboarding
