///ELF Cohort 5 Alum Zachery Palmer flying in NH, and changing the game!
Late to post this update but, Strafford Economic Development Corporation was proud to finance the real estate purchase for Colon Tire and Alignment in Manchester. This was an opportunity to cement this multi decades old, family run business (with the next generation in training) in a community that the owner, Lisandro(pictured), also grew up in. I’ve brought my cars to either him, his brother up the street, or to Ralph Brutus around the corner since college. The neighborhood has always reminded me of back home in Providence and knew they’d give me some trustworthy service. PS- around the same time, Jason Bonilla, Positive Street Art, and others, had an idea for a mural in center city they wanted to complete before winter… I just so happened to know a guy.

On November 26th our program Director Jason Bonilla's commitment to Center City, in Manchester, NH came to fruition. Managing this community-driven project was only possible through collective collaboration, working alongside - Cohort 5 Alum (Zachery Palmer) , Cohort 10 Alum (Cecilia Ulibarri), and current Cohort 11 Fellows (Christian Ramirez, Manny Ramirez - Lead Artist, and Yasamin Safarzadeh). Center City Love Mural 🫶🏽 We build power over here, we hold it down, and are making moves in the state of #NH #BIPOC #Art
