Exactly 100 years ago today, the National League of Cities was formed! 🌟 On Dec. 12, 1924, a small group of city leaders sat down together in Lawrence, Kansas with one common goal – to create an organization that would be the voice of local governments in Washington, D.C., and provide services and support to local leaders. Hear remarks from NLC CEO and Executive Director Clarence Anthony on this special day, and visit nlc100.org to celebrate with us by sharing our #NLC100 social media graphics!
