  • We are proud to support the 'BUFFALO ACADEMY OF SCIENCE at Medaille' Capital Campaign. This initiative is dedicated to helping Buffalo's children achieve incredible educational outcomes. The leaders of BuffSci and the Volunteer Capital Committee had the chance to celebrate the moment with NOCO’s Jim Dentinger, who serves as Chair on the committee. • You often hear companies say, "Our employees care about our customers," but what does that really look like? Here’s one example: During a routine visit to a residential propane customer, one of our sales team members heard a distressed clucking sound. After a quick search, they discovered a chicken pinned alongside the house. Concerned, the salesperson contacted the customer, who was understandably upset but unable to get home for another hour. Recognizing the urgency, our team member asked for permission to step in. With gloves on, they carefully freed the chicken and guided it back to the coop, ensuring its safety from the other chickens. Later, the salesperson followed up to check on the chicken’s wellbeing. The customer was incredibly grateful, sharing that it was their daughter’s favorite chicken—and by that evening, the daughter was happily cuddled up with her feathered friend. At our company, caring goes beyond business—it’s about lending a hand (or a glove) when it’s needed most. #NOCO #EmployeeApprecation #LendingAHand

    Commercial Install Foreman

I decided to post this job to illustrate how service work can be full of surprises. Sometimes on a typical job other opportunities present themselves to take care of a customers needs. We were called out to Great Lakes manufacting for a gas line install. The owner Rick was moving into a new space and needed 160+ feet of black iron pipe ran. That’s a nice straight forward install for our team. Nothing out of the ordinary. In the process of performing the gas pipe install Rick had told us the gas line was for 735,000 btu gas burner. At the end of of our discussion he asked us if we knew anybody who could design a kiln to dry the pallets they build on a daily basis. I had made the choice with the blessing of our operations manager to design this kiln and was able to add a unique service to help out our customer. I really enjoyed this aspect of the install and I’m grateful that our commercial team was up to the challenge of thinking outside the box to complete a very cool project. Videos are below in the comments.

  • Last week, as winter weather swept through WNY, our fuels drivers rose to the challenge. From navigating icy roads to braving freezing temperatures, they showed what true dedication looks like. Despite the treacherous conditions, they were able to complete their deliveries. Their priority wasn’t just getting the job done but doing so with safety first. A huge thank you to all of our drivers for going the extra mile and ensuring that our community stayed warm. • When Delta Sonic, a leading car wash chain in Upstate NY, called with an urgent request, our Environmental team didn’t miss a beat. They needed four vac trucks over two days for rapid pit removal at two locations. We tackled the challenge head-on without disrupting service to other major clients. This is the power of collaboration, innovation, and a team that goes the extra mile for every client. Kudos to our NOCO Environmental team for setting the standard in service and reliability for our clients! #NOCO #Environmental #DeltaSonic #EmployeeAppreciation
