Together, we can end domestic and sexual violence.
About us
NO MORE is a unifying symbol and campaign to raise public awareness and engage bystanders around ending domestic violence and sexual assault. Launched in March 2013 by a coalition of leading advocacy groups, service providers, the U.S. Department of Justice, and major corporations, NO MORE is supported by hundreds of national and local groups and by thousands of individuals, organizations, universities, and communities who are using its signature blue symbol to increase visibility for domestic violence and sexual assault. NO MORE was conceived to amplify the power of the domestic violence and sexual assault movement using a unifying symbol to drive awareness and break down the barriers of stigma, silence and shame that keep people from talking about these issues and taking action to prevent them. Co-founded as a public/private partnership, NO MORE was created as a platform for those working to end domestic violence/sexual assault, in the belief that greater dialogue will fuel enhanced funding for direct service, advocacy and prevention.

Earlier this month, NO MORE was honored to visit Casa Museo Hermanas Mirabal, the home of the Mirabal sisters, who showed great courage in protesting the oppression of a violent regime. Today marks 64 years since their assassination, a pivotal moment that led to the establishment of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. In their honor, NO MORE is bringing together some of the most impactful voices in gender-based violence prevention for a global broadcast. Together, we’ll celebrate the progress made, honor the Mirabal sisters’ legacy, and reaffirm our commitment to ending violence against women everywhere. Join us at nomore.org and ours and Peace One Day’s social channels at 1 pm GMT/8 am ET. Sign

Violence against women and girls is one of the most pervasive human rights violations worldwide. Nearly 1 in 3 women have experienced violence, and over 5 women or girls are tragically killed by a family member every hour. Yet, only 5% of global government aid is allocated to addressing this crisis, with less than 0.2% focused on prevention. This #EVAWDay, join us in raising awareness and demanding action. On November 25th, we’re teaming up with Peace One Day, Centre for Public Impact, and Avon for a global broadcast starting at 1:00pm GMT/8:00am EST. Tune in for insightful panels and interviews aimed at mobilizing efforts to end violence against women and girls. On Monday, we invite you to share how you or your organization are working to support survivors and prevent gender-based violence. Comment on the livestream or tag us and use #EVAWDay in your posts to join the conservation — we’ll be spotlighting viewer messages and efforts across our platforms throughout the day. Let's join forces to create a world free from gender-based violence and oppression. Tune in at peaceoneday.org or ours and Peace One Day’s social channels.
