As we look back on our journey, one of the standout moments was hosting 16 Congressional staffers for the Foundation for Rural Service Broadband Tour, where we had the chance to showcase the challenges and successes of rural broadband in North Dakota and Minnesota. As North Dakota’s largest telecommunications cooperative, SRT Communications has been connecting communities since 1951. They serve nearly 24,000 customers across 8,000 square miles. Their network spans 9,920 miles of fiber and fuels essential services like a regional hospital, universities, and government operations.
