This year's Sunday closing show at the Mysteryland music festival in The Netherlands brought a historic moment. In partnership with the world’s largest beer brand, BUD, Mysterland unveiled a groundbreaking spectacle! For the first time ever, on any stage in the world, a drone show was seamlessly integrated into the entire finale. In collaboration with TWOFIFTYK, Mysteryland created a revolutionary show where drones, fireworks, 3D video, and lighting came together in perfect harmony. Last week I got the opportunity to be a part of the Nova Sky Stories Drone Crew. Helping them conclude this year’s Brisbane Festival. We successfully ran 9 shows across 3 nights at South Bank from 19-21st of September. Launching 400 Drones into the night sky! The crowd was wild!! Huge thank you to Sue Osborn and the rest of the team for having me out! I learned so much into what goes on behind the scenes and how much time and dedication the team spends putting this all together. It was incredible!

Last night Nova Sky Stories Skyshows Australia completed the final of 9 shows in Brisbane for Brisbane Festival closing weekend. Another beautiful story, Skylore - The Rainbow Serpent. This First Nations creation story for Brisbane River as told by Traditional Owner and Tribal Experiences Managing Director Shannon Ruska, brought to life through a carefully choreographed drone performance, with original sound composition by Guy Webster. 400 drones animated by the incredible Mischa Mayr and Andreas Jalsovec and operated by myself and Sam Nuttall for the second year in a row. I love bringing this state of the art technology to my home state and sharing this passion with the community. Thanks to everyone who was part of this awesome event.
