National PELRA Awards 2024 and 2025 Lifetime Honorary Memberships The Board of Directors recently selected recipients of its prestigious Lifetime Honorary Membership for both 2024 and 2025. This rare and significant honor, which can be awarded to no more than two individuals per year, recognizes exemplary contributions to the association and the field of public employee labor relations. The Board has selected Brent Long of Michigan and Brooke Carnevale of Ohio for 2024 and Jill Leka of Illinois and Lisa Baisley of New York for 2025. To closeout in-person training in 2024, Oregon PELRA requested Academy Certification Course 3: The Negotiation Process as pre-conference program to their 2024 conference. It has been a quality learning day at a fantastic learning environment in Pringle Hall, thanks to the City of Salem. National PELRA is grateful to both Jenna Richardson and Douglas E. Duckett for co-presenting and leading the local efforts in Oregon. The 8-hour day is into the afternoon simulated bargaining sessions, and time will tell if local bakery treats from Brandy's All City Sweets help as bargaining chips. #educate #training #CLRP®️ #publicsector #labor #bargaining
