Last night Nucleate Michigan welcomed all the Activator teams back for our Activator Mentor Matching event! Big thank you to the University of Michigan Biointerfaces Institute for their partnership and support which allows us to have these events. The Biointerfaces Institute empowers students to develop groundbreaking biomedical solutions by fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and entrepreneurial growth. Thank you to all the mentors that came and shared their knowledge with the teams. A very successful kick-off to the 2025 A2 BioSocial season with Nucleate Michigan kicking of their Activator program and showcasing 6 new start-ups. The frigid cold didn't sway a large crowd from filling The Ann Arbor Club to celebrate the local life sciences community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our last Nucleate Michigan x Michigan Biomedical Venture Fund lecture last week! 🙌 It was great to hear from Chris Pacheco who shared his career journey, emphasizing networking, collaboration, and the interdisciplinary impact of neuroscience, while Brian Gallagher, Jr. offered valuable insights into biotech startups and venture capital, including the unique challenges of building startups outside traditional hubs. The session wrapped up with engaging discussions on the importance of technical expertise, building connections, and navigating the biotech ecosystem.
