Everyone asks, what’s our mission? We started Quince to challenge the idea that nice things have to cost a lot.  Our mission was simple—create products of equal or greater quality than the leading luxury brands at a much lower price. Because we believe quality should never be a luxury.

We’re kicking off the new year with a major announcement—Quince raised $120 million in our Series C funding round early in 2024! Following the close, we’ve spent 2024 strategically building behind the scenes, strengthening our foundation to scale our mission of making high-quality essentials accessible to everyone at radically fair prices. The round was co-led by Notable Capital and Wellington Management, with participation from DST Global, Basis Set Ventures and 8VC. We want to thank our investors for continuing to believe in our vision and joining us on this journey. A heartfelt thank you to our incredible and loyal customers - your continued support has enabled us to keep building towards our vision that quality should not be a luxury. Last week at the Hotel Chelsea, we hosted the first-ever Prix Fixe event with a menu of 20 stand-out brands (just one per category) across food, beverage, and home. Over the course of two days, 80+ hospitality professionals, Substackers, cookbook authors, content creators, investors, and editors popped by to experience the suite and take home a truly massive gift bag with products from every brand featured. Now, we’re excited to personally connect them with their new favorites, and know that this is the beginning of some great partnerships, collaborations, and conversations. Alright, so the other day my partner drops this not-so-subtle hint about a suede leather bag from Quince being on preorder. Naturally, I’m like, “Alright, I’ll check it out later,” but I immediately open my Notes app to remind myself—because, you know, short term memory loss runs rampant in my family. Fast forward, and now I’m fully hooked on their mens line. They’ve got the product nailed, no question. Seems like they have advocates doing the most for them—posting about their cashmere sweaters all over Instagram, raving to their friends about that $50 sweater that feels like $500. I can’t scroll through TikTok without seeing Quince pop up in every holiday gift guide on my feed. They’re everywhere, and for good reason. A huge shoutout to the team behind the magic, like Antonieta Moreland, for redefining what luxury can look like—accessible, timeless, and real. You are crushing it!
