About us
The Florida Association of Mortgage Professionals was founded in 1960 and presently has 1,200 members and 7 chapters located statewide. FAMP utilizes volunteers and a professional management company to operate the association. There are no employees. When you become a member of our association you may join a chapter of your choice. We provide benefits and discounts as part of our membership package. FAMP hosts one of the nation’s largest state mortgage convention and trade show. Chapter trade shows commence in January of each year. Our FAMP provides consumer and continuing education programs. Each chapter sponsors continuing education throughout the year. Professional, Originator and Affiliate members receive chapter education at a reduced rate. We also provide on-line education.

The Florida Association of Mortgage Professionals congratulates President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee for FHFA Director, Bill Pulte. Home ownership and affordability are vital to our 57,000 licensed loan originators and we look forward to engaging the FHFA in Washington on these issues, and specifically requesting the GSE’s end to their discriminatory rule that makes Florida the only state that requires a 25% down payment for most condominium loans.
