🎉 Congratulations to Rheaply's CEO & Co-Founder/P33 Chicago's Board Vice Chair, Garry Cooper, on being named to #EssenceMagazine's Power 40! 🙌 We're proud to have you leading with such passion and purpose.🌟
Today, I get to announce being a part of Essence Magazine’s 2024 Power 40! This is truly an honor and I’m grateful—so grateful—for the recognition. To be honest with you (and myself), I’m not sure what “power” I have. I run a small company with a big mission and heart (and some really cool tech). I advocate vigorously for a more sustainable and diverse workplace and community, but in the rooms and periodicals that want to publish those thoughts. Even when I’m down, I try my best to make someone else smile—one person at a time. I care about medicine and science and innovation—nerdy stuff. I care for a few amazing plants and an awesome recuse dog. So I’m not sure any of that bespeaks of someone in the ranks of the powerful. But while I have your attention let me say this: If you’re a young, nerdy kid from a small town with big hopes and dreams, you can still work hard and find a moment when a few of your dreams come true—including a recognition in Essence Magazine. And know that all things are possible even if you have no power. You don’t need power. You need purpose. Our power is our own light. The work continues; the journey forward is wide and abundant. Thanks, Essence! This will surely make my mother smile. #essence #power40 https://lnkd.in/gtYBPkAp

Enjoyed hosting leaders from EY this past week Xchange Chicago. They got to meet with our latest cohort of Catalyte graduates to share more about how they have developed their technical and professional skills over the past week. From there, the team got to see our nearly complete Innovation Hub in the Grand Crossing community where we will activate 28,000 square feet to train and deliver technical services and support. We then had a more engaging small group discussion with apprentices who are working with our clients: Northern Trust , Oak Street Health & WEC Energy Group . Ernst & Young had a chance to join as a part of their annual service day. We are grateful for the emerging partnership and look forward to the continued engagement with this leading professional services firm.
