Formerly known as the Panel on Gamma and Electron Irradiation 'The Irradiation Panel' is a membership organisation dedicated to the advancement, development, promotion, regulation and practice of radiation processing using electron beam, gamma and X-ray technology. Established in 1966 in the United Kingdom it now has members from across Europe and beyond. It meets twice a year to discuss the major issues and challenges facing the industry. Thank you to our liaison partners for your updates The Society for Sterility Assurance Professionals SfSAP International Irradiation Association (iia) ASTM International and thanks to Jérémy Brison for facilitating engaging discussion on low energy electron beam, dose audit positives and a proposed study on D10 values of commonly found organisms. Venue is the Lensbury Resort Hotel, Teddington, London, UK (close to Heathrow Airport on the bank of the river Thames).
