🌟 Did you know that at its 2005 capacity, it would take the The McDonnell Genome Institute, WashU Medicine (MGI) nearly 250 years to equal just ONE DAY of its current capacity? 🤯 🧬 Pedal the Cause staff had the privilege of touring this world-class facility with Bob Fulton, MGI’s Director of Technology Development and Assistant Professor of Genetics, and long-time Pedal rider on Team Illumina. Known for sequencing the first cancer genome and playing a critical role in sequencing the first human genome, MGI continues to push boundaries and expand what is possible in the field of genomics. 🧪 We were truly blown away by the groundbreaking work happening at MGI and deeply inspired to see how Pedal has contributed to their incredible advancements. Thank you to Bob for giving us such an inspiring and informative tour! 🙌
