Along with Tiseme Zegeye from Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, LLP, Adam will discuss  In Re: The Cooper Companies, Inc. In Vitro Fertilization Global Culture Media Products Liability Litigation.   According to the ongoing MDL (No. 3122), CooperSurgical issued a recall of several lots of its embryo culture media. We're proud to announce a huge win for Yieldstreet Investors. Along with Sonn Law Group, Peiffer Wolf secured a preliminary settlement of up to $9.95 million for our clients in three Yieldstreet funds: Vessel Deconstruction I, Vessel Deconstruction III, and Louisiana Oil and Gas!    After extensive negotiations, a settlement was reached and applied for preliminary approval, which U.S. District Judge Victor Marrero has granted. The proposed settlement includes a $6.2 million cash fund for the investors, as well as a waiver of $2.75 million in fees.    A hearing for final approval is currently scheduled for February 21.   #InvestorRights #Settlement #PeifferWolf

Last week, Tiffany R. Ellis testified before the Senate Finance, Insurance, and Consumer Protection Committee in Lansing, describing the former Michigan Supreme Court's  consumer protection rulings as "disastrous.”     The following day, the current Supreme Court heard arguments on a case that could reverse these rulings. Great news for our BIPA clients! In a recent major development for class action lawsuits under Illinois' Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA), the Illinois First District Appellate Court has revived a high-stakes case against Gunnar Optiks over their use of virtual try-on technology (which allegedly violated privacy laws by collecting biometric data without proper consent).   Peiffer Wolf Partner Brandon Wise, who has won more than $75,000,000.00 for our clients in privacy cases, and Attorney Domenica Russo, along with Gary M.
