The customer is always right, right? Respectfully, that is not always the case with mopping. Too many facilities are still using string mops with a bucket and wringer. THIS ONLY SPREADS GERMS. Think about what is being spread throughout restrooms with a string mop 🤢 We had a fantastic demonstration today with Unger Enterprises, LLC. and their Omniclean system. Two separate “buckets”with clean and dirty water. Look at how dirty that water is! Don’t keep making this mistake. It’s an easy fix. Remain being the customer who is ALWAYS right! Give me a call to setup a demo. 724-448-9664. #jansan #pittsburgh #cleaning #pittsburghcleaning #westernpa #facilitycleaning

With back-to-school season upon us, we all know caffeine offers a great productivity boost, but how much do university students really impact the coffee business? According to Lexington Law, college students have an estimated spending power of nearly $600 billion. What's more, 53 percent of millennial college students who receive spending money from their parents say they spend it on drinks and snacks. At Commonplace Coffee, we're proud to count students among our community, and we work hard to serve as a a third space for study sessions and so much more. As promised, here are some Q2 highlights I'm proud to present based on the efforts of our managers and crew through the The Great Game of Business. If you've ever spent Game Day on the North Shore, you can see that we 'yinzers' love to show up in a sea of black and yellow. Lacey, server, had a great idea: what if we could wear black and yellow, too? Meredith, Marketing Director, has an impeccable eye and brought the dream to reality launching three new uniforms including a black and yellow option for our crew. Amber, our Office Manager, offered to take on redesigning our distribution so we could run leaner inventory with the correct sizing at each location. She transformed an area of our office to collect and manage the inventory. Across all of our locations, our Shift Managers, Crews and Salaried Managers helped make the program successful and leaned into organizing inventory and selling retail. Highlight 1: Since the project launched, we've seen a 75% increase to retail revenue Although retail makes up a marginal component of our revenue (it says burgers and shake on our door), this increase moved retail from .04% to .07% of revenue and continues to grow. The best part? We use our retail sales to help offset the costs of our charitable efforts, so wearing our merch feels great! As always, a tremendous thank you to Anne Claire Broughton and Tom Strong for the support. Pictured are two crew from our Homestead location sporting our new shirts! #GreatGameOfBusiness #Hospitality
