Managing stress during the holidays can be extra challenging when living with chronic pain. Here are 5 ways to find relief and enjoy the season: 🎁 Take Gentle Walks in Nature – A short stroll outdoors can ease stress and improve circulation, promoting relaxation. 🎁 Practice Mindfulness – Focus on your breath or try meditation to calm the mind and reduce tension. 🎁 Stretch and Move Slowly – Light stretches or yoga can ease muscle stiffness and relieve pain. 🎁 Prioritize Rest – Quality sleep is essential for managing pain and stress—make it a priority. 🎁 Limit Over-Scheduling – Keep your calendar manageable to avoid burnout and focus on self-care. These small steps can make a big difference in managing stress and chronic pain this holiday season. #PMIR #ChronicPain #ChronicPainRelief #PainFree #HolidayStress #ChronicPain

Boost your hip flexibility with these 3 poses! ✨ Whether you're easing stiffness or improving mobility, these moves can help you feel stronger and more comfortable. 𝐃𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐓𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐭: 1. Begin in a lunge position with your right foot forward and left leg extended back. 2. Place both hands on the ground inside your right foot for stability. 3. Keep your left leg straight and gently sink your hips toward the ground. 4. Raise your right arm toward the ceiling and twist your torso to the right, looking up at your hand. Benefits: Stretches the hip flexors, improves rotation in the hip joint, and releases tension in the groin and lower back. 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐜𝐡: 1. Sit on the ground with your back straight and feet pressed together in front of you. 2. Let your knees fall outward, creating a diamond shape with your legs. 3. Use your elbows to gently press your knees closer to the ground for a deeper stretch. Benefits: Opens the hips, stretches the adductors, and increases hip flexibility. 𝐏𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐞 (𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝): 1. Begin in a plank position and bring your right knee forward, placing it behind your right wrist. 2. Angle your right shin so it’s as parallel to the front of the mat as possible, and extend your left leg straight back. 3. Lower your hips toward the floor and keep your chest lifted. For more intensity, fold forward over your bent leg. Benefits: Deeply stretches the hip rotators, glutes, and hip flexors, while improving hip range of motion. These poses can be incorporated into your routine to improve mobility and maintain hip health, but it’s important to avoid pushing into pain and to modify as needed. #PMIR #ChronicPain #ChronicPainRelief #PainFree #PainRelief #HipMobility #StayActive #StretchAndStrengthen
