Dr Katy Plant- Running Half Marathon for The Pain Relief Foundation. Can you help to support her. I’m excited to share that I’ll be running my FIRST half marathon to raise funds for the Pain Relief Foundation in Liverpool. The Pain Relief Foundation is an amazing charity dedicated to researching chronic pain, a crucial area that is often overlooked despite affecting so many people. Every donation, no matter how small, will go towards helping to improve the lives of those living with chronic pain and further our medical understanding. Thank you!!! You can make a donation using the link below https://lnkd.in/ej9FWyrs

Your Help Is Needed ! The purpose of this study is to work together with patients and those that support them with medicines to develop a way of making sure strong painkillers (opioids) are used safely. Adults who have used strong painkillers for pain relief or have supported someone else who has used strong painkillers will be invited to take part in this study. Participating will involve face-to-face, online and telephone interviews. During the interviews, participants' opinions on different ways of making sure strong pain killers are used safely will be discussed.

Our monthly social group took place this morning here at PRF .. Huge thank you to Dr Andrew Marshall who shared a presentation and talked about new future research. We know how busy he is but an hour chatting was appreciated by all attendees. It’s always interesting to hear of research happening in our city. Volunteers are needed for future projects OR if you fancy joining in our social meetings please contact jo.stephens@painrelieffoundation.org.uk . #goodtotalk #socialgroup #livingwithchronicpain #painresearch #funding #donate #fibromyalgia #migraine #arthritis #backpain
