The most extensive network of faith-based ministries serving prisoners, their families and victims around the world.

About us

Many people are hopeless about broken prison systems. We have programs in prisons around the world that are proven to restore prisoners, help their families, and integrate them back into the community—for good! We do this through three flagship programs: The Prisoner's Journey, which introduces prisoners to Jesus the Prisoner and invites them on a transformational journey to know Him; Sycamore Tree Project–Justice and Peace, which helps prisoners understand the harm caused by crime and explores ways for them to make things right; and the children of prisoners sponsorship program, which rescues children of prisoners from hopeless situations and helps restore and rebuild their lives through practical care and spiritual and emotional support.

  • This holiday season, we are filled with gratitude and joy as we reflect on our year. Andy, our President and CEO, recently visited Colombia, where he spent time with children with incarcerated parents who participate in our program, The Child's Journey. Witnessing their resilience, strength, hope and determination brought Isaiah 40:31 to mind: "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." We hope this heartfelt message brings you the joy of Christmas. May this Christmas season inspire you to embrace the hope and joy that these children embody each and every day.

  • 12.1 million individuals reside in prisons around the world, where lack of Gospel access is further compounded by low literacy and insufficient technology. Our program, The Listener’s Way, built in partnership with Faith Comes By Hearing, is designed to meet that need and provides in-prison audio and video Bible engagement in 29 countries in dozens of languages. Earlier this year, we coordinated for members of their video team to visit our team at Prison Fellowship Cambodia, where they heard about the program's impact, observed a session in a Cambodian prison and prayed with program participants. Their powerful experience was captured in their YouTube series, Edge of the World, offering a glimpse into the impact of this transformative program and ministry.
