For domestic distribution, we manufacture at our New York and Rhode Island locations, where our energy will be 100% renewable in 2025 🌎

…We’re also proud to announce that the Chanel Logo box, a collaboration between PUSTERLA 1880 FRANCE, PUSTERLA 1880 - S.P.A., and CHANEL, won the judges’ award for “Wow Factor” in the Paperboard Packaging Council’s 2024 #packaging competition. The box, modeled after the iconic Chanel #branding, features a large cutout that “seemingly defies the laws of physics in its structure”. The packaging features no supports, a clean matte finish, and a gorgeous gold foil interior. Thank you and congratulations to Chanel and Pusterla for their work and #innovation on this project, as well as Paperboard Packaging Council for recognizing this project!

We're proud to announce that the Diptyque Advent Calendar, made possible by Diptyque Perfume and the creative excellence of our Italian design and NPD teams, and manufactured by PUSTERLA 1880 - S.P.A., won #packageoftheyear for 2024! This multi-level, structurally complex, and tactically engaging box was created to offer recipients 25 days of unboxing goodness. The piece features multiple compartments within the larger structure, and the magnetic cover allows the box to stand upright when open, adding functionality and elegance. What does Gen-Z think about paperboard packaging? Some thoughtful insights were on display with this year's entries for the Paperboard Packaging Alliance Student Design Challenge during the judging session at our offices. Every year, I look forward to the innovative designs and concepts from schools across the U.S. and Canada. This year we had 9 schools participate. Students from these schools submitted an impressive 30 entries! What we experienced is that the next generation of packaging design influencers bring innovation to the forefront of their design, using renewable and recyclable materials. This year's ‘challenge’ was to design new paperboard packaging for an original fresh produce product that is typically not packaged primarily in fiber-based packaging. The wild card? The package must be stackable. It was great to spend time with Gabriell Maupin from the American Forest & Paper Association team and the impressive panel of judges, Dan Ahern (Graphic Packaging International, LLC), Neha Mardi, PMP (Southern Champion Tray), Patrick Shields (WestRock Company), and Kelly Fellner (PUSTERLA US). Kelly has a unique connection to the Challenge. In 2018, her team’s submission was the first-place winner and today, she’s working in packaging design and helping the next generation of designers. The Paperboard Packaging Alliance is a collaboration between the American Forest & Paper Association and Paperboard Packaging Council that fosters awareness and appreciation of sustainable and recyclable paperboard packaging with future packaging design decision makers.
