First we build Pydantic, next Pydantic Logfire - uncomplicated observability

About us

From the team behind Pydantic, Logfire is a new type of observability platform built on the same belief as our open source library — that the most powerful tools can be easy to use.

Updates

  • At Pydantic , we are thinking about having a live session on YouTube about PydanticAI. The idea is to show a bit the framework, interact with people, and show a bit about observability for AI. Would you like to see that? 😁 Leave your reaction here, and let us know what you’d like to see in this live!

  • Great introduction to PydanticAI, and converting existing LLM code to use it.

Considering the new Pydantic AI framework to build AI agents? 🚀 My colleague Ofir Ovadia continues his series on building AI agents, this time comparing a PydanticAI vs a Langchain implementation of a more complex scenario: creating an AI agent that can do simple data analysis on a Python Data Frame. Like the first post in the AI agents series, this one is built on the superb resource that is Nir Diamant’s Gen-AI Agents repo, which has many more implementations of AI Agents (https://lnkd.in/dYfsyZ87). Ofir took the data analysis repo, converted it to PydanticAI and of course, merged it back into the repo. ✨ Unlike the previous post, this isn't a one-to-one translation, because unlike Langchain, which comes with a pre-built DataFrame agent handling, in PydanticAI we had to roll our own, which is a great example of how to create new agents. We hope you enjoy and learn from the post, and highly encourage you to check out the first post in the series, and other AI Agent tutorials in the AI Agents repo. Link to the post in the first comment!

If you're looking for a comprehensive introduction to #GenAI Agents, this Google Whitepaper is a starting point. Enabling my small #MLOps team to focus on specialist work requires increasing automation of manual repetitive tasks. I believe that AI agents will come to the party this year and PydanticAI is a solid starting point as a toolkit. Next we need knowledge growth so that more useful agents can be built. #gettingthingsdone
