From ensuring they have access to private education, medical, dental, and vision care, to providing nutritious meals and a safe, loving home—we go beyond the basics to offer the kind of support and opportunities we’d want for our own families. This isn’t just care—it’s a commitment to their healing, growth, and future. It’s movie nights, baking cookies, decorating for Christmas, and creating lasting memories. It’s offering specialized trauma-informed counseling and a Christ-centered foundation to rebuild their lives. Here at Radiate, the holidays are all about family—all of us together. From our volunteers, board members, and ambassadors traveling to be with the girls, to their own families visiting, we come together as one big, beautiful family to celebrate the season. The girls’ home is filled with laughter as we bake cookies, decorate the tree, and enjoy 30 days of Advent activities. These shared moments remind all of us what family truly means: love, connection, and a sense of belonging. Did you know that many people believe abuse is something that happens elsewhere, to someone else's child? Yet, statistics show a startlingly different story. Abuse can occur in plain sight, often in situations where we least expect it. 📊 Statistical Snapshot: 🔸 A significant number of child abuse cases are identified by people who thought 'it could never happen here.' 🔸 In many reported instances, the abuse takes place in familiar environments, right before the eyes of the community. 🔸 This highlights the urgent need for awareness and education. We must all stay vigilant, informed, and ready to act to protect every child. Understanding the signs of abuse and knowing how to respond can change, or even save, a child's life. If you know me, you know I have a passion for many things. The fight to end Trafficking is one close to my heart. I go to Honduras yearly to work with girls in Casa de Ester and Casa Llegado in support of Radiate Coalition’s mission. Radiate Coalition is headed to India next week to meet with a home like in Honduras in hopes to bring them into the program. This means more support both financially and structurally for this home. This nonprofit works to provide Christ-centered restorative whole-person aftercare to victims of abuse, trafficking, exploitation, trauma, and oppression, taking them from survivor to thrive and launching them into a spirit-filled life. The team is looking to bring the girls and staff in India Bibles, books with Bible stories, Easter goodies and a celebratory Easter meal. We need 48 sponsors to give $15 to make that happen. We have 14 so far but still need 34!
