We’re proud to continue our disaster recovery mission of helping low-income, elderly, and disabled homeowners, and we couldn’t do it without incredible partners like USAA. Mary, a 73-year-old retired Registered Nurse, has lived in the home her father built in 1953. An active member of her community church, Mary has spent her life caring for others—but when Hurricanes Ian, Helene, and Milton caused significant damage to her roof and interior floors, she found herself feeling overwhelmed and alone. With the support of Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay, Mary’s kitchen and living room floors, as well as her bathroom toilet, have been replaced—restoring safety, accessibility, and dignity to her home. However, Mary still needs a new roof to ensure her home is secure and protected for years to come. Mary shared: "I’m so appreciative of Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay’s help. I wouldn’t be able to afford the repairs without your assistance." This is where you come in. Your generosity can transform lives for homeowners like Mary who are struggling to recover after devastating storms. By donating to Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay, you’re helping us repair homes, revitalize communities, and rebuild lives. 🔗 Join us in making a difference today: https://lnkd.in/eCcKygfg #RebuildingLives #CommunityImpact #Philanthropy #SafeAndHealthyHomes #RebuildingTogetherTampaBay

Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay is proud to celebrate the success of the Rental to Homeownership Program, a partnership with the City of Tampa and Solita's House, Inc. We celebrate the 1 Year Anniversary where: ✅ 5 families moved into affordable RTTB rental homes. ✅ Rent is capped at 30% of income to ensure affordability. ✅ Families earn below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI). This program creates opportunities for families to transition from renting to owning their own homes, with housing counseling and financial support paving the way. Mayor Jane Castor says it best: "Affordable rent is the first step toward saving for a home of your own." 🎉 Here's to transforming lives and creating brighter futures for Tampa families! #AffordableHousing #Homeownership #RebuildingTogetherTampaBay #Tampa #CommunityImpact
