Small efforts. Big impact.
REDM is more than just an organization. It’s a movement – of people just like you.
We’re passionate about seeing lives transformed in the aftermath of sexual exploitation. We exist because we believe that sex trafficking survivors deserve more than rescue. They deserve restoration. More than survival, they are overcomers.
That’s why we partner with nonprofit organizations that provide the resources and therapeutic interventions survivors need to successfully transition out of survival mode and into...well...LIFE.
REDM is a network of highly skilled individuals who volunteer their services on behalf of these life-transforming organizations. We specialize in building positive event experiences to generate funds and education on the realities in our society of sext trafficking and helping victims become overcomers. We also connect willing professionals with those who need their particular skills most, leveraging the power of crowdsourcing to amplify their impact on survivors’ lives.
We believe that wherever nonprofits need help, there are people passionate and skilled enough to make a difference. And together, we’re making the future a little brighter for our community – one small effort at a time.

The 8+8+8 rule is a powerful and practical framework designed to promote balance and holistic well-being in our daily lives. It divides the 24 hours in a day into three equal parts: 8 hours for work or productivity, 8 hours for rest and rejuvenation, and 8 hours for leisure, self-care, and personal growth. This approach acknowledges the multifaceted nature of human needs, emphasizing that true well-being is not achieved through relentless productivity alone but through a harmonious blend of work, rest, and play.
The first 8 hours are allocated to work or responsibilities—be it your job, studies, or household duties. This segment allows individuals to meet their professional goals, fulfill obligations, and make meaningful contributions. However, the rule also subtly encourages us to work smarter, not harder, reminding us that productivity isn’t about overextending ourselves but about being focused and efficient. It challenges the "always-on" culture, advocating instead for structured work hours that enable us to fully disengage when it’s time to rest.
The second 8 hours are for sleep, a pillar of mental and physical health. Sleep is often undervalued in today’s fast-paced world, but this rule highlights its importance in repairing the body, consolidating memories, and regulating emotions. Chronic sleep deprivation can lead to burnout, anxiety, and even physical illnesses, so treating sleep as a non-negotiable priority rather than an afterthought is crucial. By committing to a full 8 hours of rest, we equip our minds and bodies to face challenges with resilience and clarity.
The final 8 hours are perhaps the most liberating, dedicated to leisure, self-care, and personal connections. This time allows for engaging in activities that bring joy and foster a sense of purpose, whether it’s pursuing hobbies, exercising, meditating, or spending time with loved ones. It’s a chance to nurture your passions, reflect on your goals, and cultivate relationships that enrich your life. For some, this may mean going for a walk in nature, reading a good book, or simply doing nothing—unapologetically. These hours are vital for mental health as they help to counteract stress and recharge the emotional batteries.
Ultimately, the 8+8+8 rule serves as a gentle reminder that our days are not solely defined by the tasks we complete or the goals we achieve. They are also shaped by how we care for ourselves and connect with the world around us. Embracing this rule is a step toward a more fulfilling, balanced, and mentally healthy life, where you can thrive without sacrificing your well-being in the process.
