New data released today from the American Cancer Society shows that cancer incidence among women under 50 now exceeds men’s. While overall mortality continues to decline, significant racial disparities persist—especially for American Indian/Alaska Native and Black communities—and pancreatic cancer remains among the most difficult to treat. RCCA held its 12th Annual Clinical Retreat in November 2024 in Long Branch, New Jersey. The retreat highlighted RCCA's research progress and strategy in the hematology and oncology space, provided updates on the latest treatments for breast, lung, and genitourinary cancers and multiple myeloma, and outlined best practices for "time off treatment" with a BCL-2 inhibitor and BiTE treatments from hospitals to outpatient clinics.
