Who better to talk about it with than Richard Millington, who spends lots of his days researching and consulting corporations, and have done it over 15 years with his company FeverBee - Community Consulting. 💥 Register at https://lnkd.in/exRNXYzV 💥 #communitybuilding #corporatecommunities

What to keep in mind when using social media to build community? Some learnings from S10E3 "Using socials to elevate community impact with Rabiah Elisa & Tulani André": 💥1️⃣ authenticity: find your voice which is not corporate, but personal 💥2️⃣ live in the comments: listen to what people are saying, if you want to build community on social media! community vs social media is deep listening vs pushing content 💥3️⃣ don't limit where people can talk to you: there are platforms where you can connect all your socials platforms so you can post (while tailoring to each channel!) from one place, and comments from across the platforms run to one place too! 💥4️⃣ guidelines: establish social media guidelines and make sure it aligns with your community guidelines 💥5️⃣ boundaries: it’s easy to get sucked into social media, especially if you want to answer to people, listen to them, and converse; remember to take care of yourself & of course there were so many more! Recording in the comments!! Thanks team Felix Zeltner, avely pütsep, Elizabeth Hepp, Tim Dahnke, & others. Thanks Rabiah (Upland Software) and Tulani (National Geographic) for jumping on board. Thanks community, the people who come to our events time and time again & new people. 🫶🏼 The picture is from Avely's cafe, our 20 minute community time post-event, where we continue the conversation. Screengrabbed by Felix who conveniently doesn't have his camera on, so he's not mid-talking.. 😂
