Solar Progress: Adding Value and Improving Quality of Life Around the Globe

About us

Renewvia Energy Corporation is a top 500 Global Solar Developer headquartered in the Atlanta, Ga. It designs, installs, owns and operates commercial and community solar power systems and provides a complete range of solar energy solutions including turnkey solar installation, integrated financing and solar consulting services. Since its founding in 2008, Renewvia has designed, installed, owned and operated over 80 megawatts (MW) of power across the United States, Pacific Islands, South America and sub-Saharan Africa. Projects range from equipping large industrial farms with up to 60 MW of renewable energy to constructing 2.5 MW distributed rooftop solar arrays for industrial facilities and 50 kilowatt (kW) systems for small commercial buildings, along with hybrid and standalone solar microgrids of varying size in remote, hard-to-reach communities. Currently the company is developing clean energy projects where the most expensive fuel source is burned to create power. Power costs for businesses in these areas are crippling and many times large capital expenditures are not feasible for business owners regardless of the associated returns. Site visit day with Renewvia Energy 🇳🇬 🥥 In Beyelsa state where the Nigerian oil boom begun, oil exported to the world. A shame the locals here sitting on top of the deposits still don't have electricity, but no wahala renewable energy is here now. 🙏🏽⚡ Cracking some coconuts before getting cracking on some installs. Team work makes the dream work Adebowale (Debo) Dosunmu 😎

  • We are thrilled to announce the successful commissioning of our first solar project in Mississippi! A huge thank you to The FSB Companies, LLC for the opportunity to collaborate over the past year. With the installation of 520 megawatt-hours of solar capacity, Delta Grain Company now have the ability to operate almost entirely on the solar energy produced from the system. We are excited to expand into this market and deliver renewable energy solutions to Mississippi and beyond! A special shout-out to our amazing partners who made this possible @TheFSBCompanies, Jeremiah Seal at Delta Electric Power Association, Brady Sims at Sims Industrial Solutions, Jason Sosnovsky at Pine Energy, and David Blackledge at Cooperative Energy! #mspeanut #cityofwatervalley #renewableenergy #USDA

  • Renewvia Solar Africa's Director of African Project Development, Douglas Cox, participated in an executive session during the African Investment Forum (#AIF2024) on Private Sector Investment Opportunities in Forced Displaced Settings. The session was hosted by African Development Bank Group and UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency. Douglas provided detail on the company's ability and motivation for providing an affordable and reliable source of clean power for the most compromised segment of society. Renewvia is raising the required capital to expand this humanitarian power offering to benefit over 700,000 refugee lives across 3 forcibly displaced settings communities in Kenya. #solarprogress

  • Our own Douglas Cox was featured speaker last week at the "Regional High-Level Workshop on Enhancing the Investment Climate for Refugee, Returnee, and Host Communities' Economic Empowerment". This workshop, a joint effort by the African Development Bank Group, UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, IGAD, and the East African Community, was a great chance to showcase our work empowering refugees through access to clean, reliable, and affordable electricity.

  • 🌞 Empowering Communities Through Renewable Energy and STEM Education! 🌞 We're proud to spotlight Davidson Bennywhite, the lead technician at Renewvia Solar Nigeria Limited (RSNL), who has gone above and beyond by establishing a renewable energy training center in Oloibiri, Bayelsa State – home to a mini-grid built by RSNL with the support of All On, The World Bank Group, and Rural Electrification Agency of Nigeria   In this training center, Bennywhite shares his expertise and passion by teaching young people in the community about renewable energy systems and the technical skills needed to troubleshoot smart metering devices. Among his five students are 3 young women who are gaining hands-on experience in a STEM field traditionally underrepresented by women. This initiative not only builds capacity in renewable energy but also inspires young women to pursue careers in STEM, helping to shatter stereotypes and empower the girl child to reach new heights.   💡 Impact at the Grassroots: This program provides invaluable technical skills and sparks interest in STEM, giving participants a launchpad for future careers. By nurturing local talent, Bennywhite is building a new generation of energy professionals equipped to manage, maintain, and innovate within their communities. Imagine the possibilities when these young learners become leaders and role models, paving the way for even more young people to embrace science and technology in rural communities! At Renewvia, impact is at the heart of everything we do. By embedding sustainability and social responsibility into our operations, we're not only powering communities but also ensuring the progress of renewable energy technologies across Africa.   Together, we’re laying the groundwork for a sustainable, self-sufficient future for underserved communities, one solar panel and one STEM lesson at a time.   Thank you, Bennywhite, for your commitment to uplifting youth and empowering young women to transform Nigeria’s energy sector! 🌍✨   #RenewviaEnergy #SolarProgress #AllOn #WorldBank #REA #RenewableEnergy #SolarEnergy #Nigeria #CleanEnergy #YouthEmpowerment #STEM #WomenInSTEM #EmpoweringGirls #CommunityImpact #Sustainability   #renewviaenergy #SolarProgress #AllOn #WorldBank #REA #RenewableEnergy #SolarEnergy #Nigeria #CleanEnergy #YouthEmpowerment #STEM #WomenInSTEM #EmpoweringGirls #CommunityImpact #Sustainability
