RCI is organized for the purpose of furthering the interests of manufacturing and retail confectioners and the retail confectionery industry. We are a trade association serving the chocolate and confectionery industry since 1917. Our members are comprised of chocolate makers, confectioners and industry suppliers with a passion for excellent confections. From independently owned businesses to large multi-million dollar corporations, RCI provides a forum for confectioners to meet, network, share ideas, solve mutual problems, and develop their candy making and entrepreneurial skills.

👏 Retail Confectioners International inducted three members to its 2024–2025 board of directors during RCI’s Annual Convention & Industry Expo in Buffalo, New York. They include Kathy Bomboy-Casteel, Bomboy's Candy; Eric Schmoyer, Barry Callebaut Group USA; and Joe Sofia, Cargill Cocoa & Chocolate. In addition, board members Brian Boehm of Laura's Fine Candies, Jennifer Crudden of Rosalind Candy Castle Inc, and Robert & Donna Pikcilingis of Candy Kraft Candies renewed a second two-year term.
