  • Tailored Recruitment = Greater Diversity in Clinical Trials Recruitment for clinical trials has always been a challenge—especially when it comes to ensuring diverse participation. But diversity in clinical trials isn’t just about reaching more people—it’s about reaching them the right way and at the right time. Recruitment efforts should reflect the fact that different populations have varying levels of knowledge, and therefore need tailored education about everything from the trial process to its benefits.           Achieving this requires sponsors to design their recruitment efforts to account for nuances across wide geographic locations, varying health conditions, and knowledge levels. This might seem like a job that humans can handle on their own (and it is on a very small scale) but larger scale efforts require technology, especially given the level of precision necessary to meet diversity goals without delays. By using AI to fine-tune recruitment efforts, we can ensure that our messaging resonates with each unique audience—whether the audience is defined by ethnicity, language, culture, geography, interests, or knowledge level. For example, if recruiting for a specific trial site, AI can analyze demographic data and ensure your message is reaching people who are not only eligible but also most likely to engage with the content. Whether it’s adjusting language, focusing on health conditions, or providing culturally relevant resources, AI helps to reach more diverse populations without compromising on precision or speed. #Reveles #ClinicalTrials #DiversityInResearch #ClinicalTrialRecruitment #HealthEquity

In the most recent episode of Conversations About Health Equity, R'Kes Starling, RPh, MBA shared how his team at Reveles is leveraging natural language processing and other AI-powered solutions to:  🔸 Gain deeper insights into the attitudes, behaviors and perceptions of underrepresented groups before clinical trials, to inform more inclusive trial design.  🔸 Create culturally sensitive educational content and materials that build trust and transparency throughout the trial process. This is such an important area of innovation, as we work to make clinical research and healthcare more equitable and accessible for all. What are your thoughts? How else can AI be applied to improve patient engagement and clinical outcomes? #HealthEquity #ClinicalTrials #AI #ConversationsAboutHealthEquity #Reveles

  • Are your audience personas stuck in the past? While traditional personas may tell you who people are, they fall short of uncovering WHY they make decisions, leaving campaigns generic and ineffective. The more you understand behaviors, preferences, and values, the better you can connect with your audiences in meaningful ways. It’s time to transform static personas into dynamic insights that drive action. Richer audience insights don’t just improve marketing—they elevate patient engagement and outcomes. Ready to move beyond the basics? Contact Reveles today! #HealthcareMarketing #AudienceInsights #HealthEquity #PatientEngagement

  • In healthcare and wellness, outdated engagement strategies are no longer enough. Traditional models that rely on demographics like age and gender fail to address the deeper needs, values, and interests of today’s consumers. Personalization is the key to building trust, driving better outcomes, and achieving measurable business results. Let’s move beyond generic strategies to embrace personalization as the foundation of impactful healthcare engagement. The future is personal: is your organization ready? #HealthcareInnovation #PersonalizedCare #PatientEngagement #HealthEquity

  • In healthcare, trust is essential. Educational content empowers patients, builds emotional connections, and fosters trust by engaging individuals in active learning. Studies show that learning increases cognitive engagement, deepening bonds with information sources. A Learning and Instruction study highlights that interactive strategies boost engagement, making healthcare education more impactful. Educational content provides lasting value, not just one-off marketing. Research from the Harvard Business Review found that organizations offering continuous learning deepen emotional connections and trust. By creating culturally relevant, accessible, and interactive resources, healthcare companies can connect with diverse audiences, bridging gaps in understanding. This teaching-first approach strengthens trust, drives patient engagement, and positions organizations as leaders in compassionate, patient-centered care. Contact Reveles to find out how we can drive deeper, data-driven engagement by embedding learning as part of your outreach and engagement strategy, offering patients relevant, personalized information that not only captures their attention but keeps them coming back. #PatientEngagement #HealthEducation #BuildingTrust #HealthcareInnovation #EmpoweredPatients

  • At Reveles, our commitment to advancing health equity and patient engagement is informed and strengthened by our own personal experiences. This week, we share a story from our founder, R'Kes Starling, RPh, MBA. R’Kes's mother was his inspiration for founding the company. When she was diagnosed with a rare lung disorder a few years ago, he channeled his worry into ensuring she received the best possible care. “At that time, I was working for McKesson as vice president of specialty pharmacy and clinical research services. I knew that clinical trials provided hope to participants and the essential role they play in advancing medical knowledge, so I suggested to my mom that we find one.” Despite the potential benefits, none of his mother’s doctors had mentioned clinical trials as an option. They eventually found a suitable trial, but the research site was 1,600 miles away. Although his mother has since learned to manage her condition, the difficulties and disappointments they faced in locating and accessing a trial became a driving force behind R’Kes’s decision to start Reveles. “What about other patients and families who are less familiar with the complexities of the health care system? I realized that one of the reasons why people of color aren’t participating in clinical trials and contributing to advancements in medicine and scientific innovation is because we aren’t being asked, engaged with, or met where we are.” Today, Reveles is an AI-powered patient engagement company partnering with drug sponsors and research institutions to increase awareness and expand clinical trial access for underrepresented patients. “Engagement and education are the cornerstone of everything we do. You cannot begin a discussion about clinical trials until you have fostered a genuine connection with the community. That conversation starts with creating trust to empower people to make informed decisions. We need to shift the discussion from simply enrolling and recruiting participants for clinical trials to building interest and awareness through education. That’s the heart of Reveles.” #ClinicalTrials #PatientEngagement #HealthEquity #InnovateHealthcare #ClinicalTrialsAccess #HealthcareDisparities

This November, let’s move from awareness to action! Chronic diseases like diabetes, Alzheimer's, lung cancer, and COPD disproportionately affect communities of color, often due to limited access to healthcare, environmental factors, and historical disparities. Here are five meaningful ways you can help close the gap and make a difference this month: ✨ 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲: Learn about the unique challenges and barriers these diseases pose for minority communities. Share what you learn with your network to raise awareness. Knowledge is power. ✨ 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆-𝗟𝗲𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Many minority-led organizations are on the front lines of health advocacy, addressing disparities through community outreach, free screenings, and resource distribution. Consider donating to or volunteering with organizations working directly with affected communities. ✨ 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀: Policy change can have a far-reaching impact. Advocate for local and national policies that promote equitable healthcare access, funding for underserved communities, and preventive programs. Write to your representatives or support organizations that influence policy changes. ✨ 𝗘𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀: Clinical trials often lack diverse participants, leading to a gap in understanding how treatments work across different demographics. Share information about clinical trials, especially those focused on Alzheimer’s, diabetes, lung cancer, and COPD, and encourage representation. ✨ 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆: Help spread information about accessible health resources, like local fitness programs, affordable health screenings, and nutrition classes. Promoting these resources can make a difference in preventing or managing chronic conditions. #AlzheimersAwarenessMonth #COPDAwarenessMonth #DiabetesAwarenessMonth #LungCancerAwarenessMonth #HealthEquity #ClinicalTrials #HealthyLifestyle
