We’re now live with both of our in-game fundraisers to support global natural disaster relief and prevention efforts. In League we’ve unvaulted the Firefighter Tristana skin and in VALORANT the existing EX.O bundle is now a Give Back Bundle. For a limited time, funds from purchases of both will go to the Riot Games Social Impact Fund and support organizations aiding natural disaster recovery. Our latest blog has the details on these fundraisers and how we’re keeping Rioters safe during this time: https://lnkd.in/gFzHJdSs

It’s been over a week since unprecedented wildfires began sweeping through Southern California. As a company rooted in Los Angeles, we want to share how we’re responding — from supporting impacted Rioters to launching in-game fundraisers for global natural disaster relief and prevention efforts. We’re kicking off in-game fundraisers next week starting on January 22 in VALORANT and January 23 in League of Legends PC, with proceeds from sales of Firefighter Tristana and the EX.O bundle benefiting the Riot Games Social Impact Fund. From there, funds will go to LA-based organizations that are working to support first responders and people affected by the wildfires, in addition to global organizations supporting disaster relief around the world. We're so inspired to see the outpouring of support from the LA community and friends around the world who have traveled to California to help during this time. Our hearts are with everyone here as we face this difficult time together. I want to thank everyone who has reached out to me from everywhere to check in on how we are doing. As a leader, you feel a responsibility to say something and to do something in moments like these. But what do you say when frankly there are no words? Nothing can be said to truly acknowledge the pain and suffering that we are witnessing unfold in the communities so many of us call home. The ongoing wildfires across greater Los Angeles have upended lives, displaced families, and devastated communities. Tens of thousands of homes are at risk, and the scale of loss is heartbreaking — more than anyone should have to bear. What can be said now to those around Los Angeles is to please take care; please follow the guidance of the local authorities and take the appropriate precautions to be safe. And while I don’t have the right words by any extent, I do have hope and belief. Belief in the courage of our communities;  belief in the strength of Angelenos. With certainty, I can say Los Angeles will rise from this moment — stronger, together. For Rioters reading this, please remember, the mission and the work will always be there. Right now, what matters most is taking care of yourselves and each other. It takes a village to do what we do and we are all in this moment together. For those in our offices around the world who have been reaching out, your support has been incredible — we’re reminded once again how strong a team Riot truly is. We are also grateful to the firefighters, first responders, and countless others on the front lines who are working tirelessly to protect lives and communities. Living and working in California means being surrounded by incredible natural beauty and vibrant communities, and we don’t take for granted the people who work every day to make this state such a special place. From the emergency crews battling these fires to the neighbors supporting one another, we’re reminded of the strength and resilience that define this region. Thank you for all you do to protect what makes California home. It's too early for anyone to know exactly what will be needed or what can be done in the aftermath of this. The reality is… we are still in the middle of it. But when the time is right, Riot will be ready to stand up for Los Angeles and give back in every way we can to all of these communities that mean so much to who we are. After all, while our reach is global, the heart of Riot Games has always been in Los Angeles. Los Angeles raised us and we are proud to call this great city our home. Together, we will get through this. Thank you again for all of your words of support. Stay safe and please take care of yourselves and one another. Dylan
