The European Parliament successfully pushed back proposed cuts to #HorizonEurope, securing an increase of €25 million for the programme in 2025. Albeit the Nordic Defence and dual-use ecosystem is now worth a combined $3.7B, and has grown 14x in the last 8 years. But core defence tech investment lags the European average, and Nordics defence and dual-use investment lags that of even Southern Europe, despite a much more mature tech ecosystem overall.
